Children's Day Celebration

This year we celebrated Children's Day with residents and children of USJ3ABCD. The Neighbourhood Watch Group of USJ3ABCD organised this event and it was partly sponsored by my office.
Meeting the Dyslexia Association (Subang Branch)

Children from the Dyslexia Association performing for the residents. They did a great job!

MPSJ Councillor for USJ 2 - 15, Rajiv Rishyakaran was also present to address the residents. Rajiv has a blog detailing his work as a councillor -

While the children were kept entertained, I addressed the parents and provided an update on the issues concerning them in USJ

Children had a great time getting to know one another and were kept busy with fun-filled programs organised for them!

In my speech to the parents, I reminded them to teach their children how to fight corruption at a young age. Do not wait until they are in university or when they begin working. By that time, it may be too late! The time is now. To have a nation born again and free from corruption, we must begin with educating our children on integrity and ground them with unshakable principles so that when they grow up, they would not depart from them. Congratulations to the Chairman of Neighbourhood Watch Group of USJ3ABCD Yee Siew Meng and his able committee members for a successful community event.
Here's wishing a Happy Children's Day to all children of DUN Subang Jaya!!
